Pakistan players express their sorrow by wearing black bands




Pakistan cricketers wore black arm-bands to mourn the deaths of 152 people involved in the Margalla plane crash and share the grief and sorrow with the victims families on the opening day of their first Test against England at Trent Bridge here on Thursday.

Team manager Yawar Saeed said: “It is a big tragedy and like every Pakistani, we are really shocked to hear the news about the accident.
Fateha arrangement by players:
“Pakistan team members, in a meeting on Thursday morning, offered Fateha for the departed souls. It is a really big loss for the families of those involved in the crash,” he said.


Muhammad Asif expressed:

“It is a huge tragedy and all the team members were saddened. Most of my colleagues were confined to hotel rooms on Wednesday evening. Every one was disturbed at the incident,” Mohammad Asif said.
Captain Salman butt expressed:

Captain Salman Butt expressed sympathies with the families, saying that the loss is irreparable. “The moment we heard about the news, we really went into a trauma.”
